Merry Christmas!!

Hello from the House of Sawyer! Hope ya'll are enjoying this festive holiday! I'm having a great time! We ate a big dinner and I'm full!! We just got finished doing a Napolean Dynamite workout. 'Twas fun!

Yesterday, Carrie, Beth, Mrs. Sawyer, and I went to Creative Fringe and we each made a pair of earings. Then we went to an authentic THAI restaurant. YUM! I had the best Sa-Tay(chicken on a stick) and peanut sauce! It was incredible. We also went downtown Holland and roamed around Roxie's Vintage. What a great shop! The Christmas Eve service was very interesting. I liked that they played a scene from Peanuts, too. They opened with Christmastime(one of my favorite songs from MWS). I was also informed that one of the Sawyer Christmas traditions is to watch Scrooge. Although I am very partial to A Muppet Christmas Carol, this was an awesome version of the Charles Dickens classic.

Today I woke up bright and early when Mr. Sawyer came in at 7 a.m., but I just fell back asleep. When Carrie and I woke up again, I could hear Ben and Mr. Sawyer and the festive music downstairs. I got some very creative presents from the family and some surprise gifts from my mom!

Overall, it was a great weekend! I had such an awesome time getting to know the Sawyers more. It was nice to see how some other people celebrate Christmas. So...tomorrow the band and I are off to sunny Florida!! Yeah, it's in the 70's!! It's a 26 hour bus ride, so I'm sure I'll get some much needed sleep and get some homework done...I hope!
