My Life: Soli Deo Gloria

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." ~Jeremiah 29:11-13

Good Times

This week has been going really well. A lot of the pressures from my activities are gone and I feel more at peace. This week has been pretty easy as far as essays, tests, and quizes. I have my usual math quiz(which I did well on, thank goodness)or two and a Spanish test today.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow! Not only do I have a half day(YES!!), but that night is CLUE! I'm so excited! There are some pretty funny characters this year, so it should be an awesome night. Shannon and I have our costumes figured out and I must say, we look pretty radical. My brother is bringing a friend from school, so I hope he enjoys it. This is going to be so much fun!

This weekend I get to go to guitar lessons, which will be good since I've missed the past three weeks. On Sunday we have Buc's Last Blast for marching band. I'm happy that Maynard cut it short this year because I was worried I wouldn't make it to praise band on time. It should be fun. I'll miss the seniors.

Next week I go to school on Monday and part of Tuesday, then....COLLEGE TOURS!! I'm really ready to go to college! We're going to Cedarville, Taylor, and North Park(yes, Chicago!). I have a lot of work to make up from the time I missed, but my teachers were really nice about everything. I hope God reveals more to me through this. Dave is going too(his last trip with us); bittersweet feeling.

Have to go to class! See Ya'll!

The flutes didn't do anything cool last year for BLB. I kind of wished we did. We didn't even do our usual pinkie prayer before all the competitions this year. Next year, me and the three other flute seniors are going to step it up next year.
I'm still narrowing down to my top 3 choices. As of now, Baptist Bible College is top. I really like Taylor and Moody, too. I've been wanting to visit Cedarville, so hopefully I'll get a better idea whether or not I want to pursue that college. I'm just trusting God with it right now.
Geez Ben, your such an oxymoron. Haha.

GO TAYLOR!! ;-) Wow! That is so cool that you are doing a multiple college tour! Have fun!

Also, I would love to see pictures of this 80-licious costume of yours!!
Oh, P.S.

Thanks for throwing that bagel at Maynard the other day. Good times :-D lol

Maynard was walking by the flutes when we were in parade formation. and he forgot to do something(he made his weird Maynard noises). When he started to go back up to the front, he picked up a bagel(THAT WAS ON THE GROUND WITH A BITE OUT OF IT) and threw it towards Caitlin Horton. Instead of hitting her, it hit me in the leg. So I took it and held on to it to get him back. When we moved into concert arcs, I waited for him to get close enough so I could hit him. I threw the bagel and not only did it hit him, but IN THE STOMACH! It was pretty funny. :)

I hope that college tour goes really well. Too bad that you can't get out to North Park.

Clue was awesome last night! It was so much fun. There were some pretty cool characters, including Sandi and Candi.

Have fun babysitting tonight!

See you tomorrow morning.
